Lawrence Lions battle Olathe West in Week 1 of the high school football season in Kansas. Despite holding a two-touchdown lead midway through the third quarter, Lawrence was unable to close out the victory as Olathe West walked away with 35-34 win. Lawrence senior running back Tahj Edwards did rack up three rushing touchdowns and 157 rushing yards on 26 carries in a standout performance.
