OBJECTIVE
Our team of award-winning journalists and photographers, as well as student journalists, strives to consistently cover
Lawrence high school athletics in a manner that is unmatched by traditional media in the market, providing timely and
in-depth coverage that spotlights student-athletes.
ROLE OF A COMMUNITY PARTNER
Our team is looking to earn the generous support of what we call “community partners.” This would include a monthly
commitment to provide financial support to our team in exchange for direct exposure for the individual business on our website (banners plus run-of-site advertisements with clickthrough links) and logo/sponsorship information on each thumbnail image that is shared on our social media accounts. Funding would be used not only to compensate our team for time and travel but also to assist with technology infrastructure costs and the procurement of equipment, as necessary.
WHAT WE ARE ASKING
Community partners would be asked to make a 10-month commitment at one of our pricing tiers listed below. This would allow us to keep our content open to the public with no paywall. Other rates are negotiable based on interest. As we develop support and legitimize the operation, we would potentially look to grow our coverage to include all activities, including but not limited to cheerleading, dance, band, choir, etc. Our initial efforts have included a certain amount of this content, but we would not guarantee a consistent presence until such time it becomes financially feasible to fully dedicate resources.
